A heartbroken mum has shared a tribute to her 27-year-old daughter who was killed when arsonists set fire to the wrong home last week. - Yashee Sharma, Nine News
➡️Kate Tangey a beloved burlesque star who performed under the stage name Vivien May-Royale, died when flames engulfed a three-storey home on Dover Street in Truganina on Thursday. She had been housesitting while her brother was on his honeymoon.

✊Large crowds gathered at pro-Palestine demonstrations in Melbourne hours before a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas was due to come into effect. A crowd of a couple of thousand protesters gathered at the State Library before a march through the CBD. Organisers say weekly marches will continue. - ABC

⚫A one-year-old's birthday party became a murder scene after a father and son were stabbed when a brawl involving up to 20 people broke out in Melbourne's south-east. 🚓A 13-year-old boy is among a group of four young people charged after they allegedly rammed a police vehicle with a stolen car in Springvale, south-east Melbourne, on Friday night. Two other boys aged 14 and 16 were arrested alongside a 21-year-old male from Clyde North. - Victoria Police
🥷🏻On to another teen gang, four boys, aged 14-17, have been charged in connection to a series of burglaries and robberies in the south-east last week. The charges related to incidents of theft across 10 locations, mainly around Cranbourne. - Victoria Police
🚨Two men have been charged following an aggravated carjacking in the city’s north-west on Wednesday, 15 January. A man parked his BMW sedan outside a property on Keilor Road, Niddrie, when two men allegedly threatened him with a knife and demanded his car. - Victoria Police
⚫The body of a 62-year-old fisherman was pulled from the waters south-west of Melbourne. The Caroline Springs man was found near Queenscliff Pier in Queenscliff about 4:20am on Saturday. - Victoria Police
🏍️Cops seized $35,000 in cash, drugs and a knuckle duster after they pulled over a man on a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the CBD on Saturday morning. - Victoria Police
🚴A man has been arrested after a reported hit-and-run collision in the south of Melbourne on Saturday morning. Two cyclists were seriously injured in the coastal suburb of Carrum during the incident. - Victoria Police
🥎Another tennis star has fallen out with Aussie Open crowds (last week it was American, Danielle Collins). After winning through to the final eight, Novak Djokovic declined the usual on-court interview, seemingly frustrated with fans in the Melbourne crowd who had been giving him stick.

🇻🇳 Australia's first Vietnamese museum has received planning approval from the Victorian government. The proposed cultural centre and museum in Sunshine will provide Vietnamese Victorians with a place to celebrate their heritage and preserve stories of migration and refugee settlement. - Vic Gov
🔢Multiple Victorian heritage number plates are up for auction to celebrate the Lunar New Year. VicRoads will put several rare number plates under the hammer on 18 February. These include one two-digit combination and several three-, four-, and five-digit combinations. - VicRoads

💳A skimming device was reportedly found on the ATM outside Ritchies IGA, Point Nepean Road in Dromana on Saturday. The device was removed and ihas been handed to authorities.
